My research focuses on governance, knowledge, and practices with a focus on disability studies, mental ill-being, and vulnerability-generating mechanisms My research encompasses the interplay between societal changes and the emergence of new forms of social and mental challenges. I am actively engaged in how social work can be constructed to reflect the lives and realities of individuals with vulnerabilities, disabilities, and mental health challenges.

Methodological competencies: Development of interdisciplinary methods, theory and concepts in social sciences and social work. Theory of science, realism, integrated analytical models and knowledge-based social work. Scientific focus on knowledge positions and views of human beings in the field of disability and psychiatry. Research manager focusing on mental health, vulnerability, well-being, and disability research in the research group SOSA AAU.
